How Do I Get Paid
We make payments via Electronic Funds Transfer (EFT) to ensure a secure and efficient process. Once your vehicle is dropped off or picked up, we initiate payment the same day and provide confirmation that the funds have left our account. Depending on your financial institution, the funds may take up to three business days to reflect in your account, though most customers receive their payment by the next business day.

You will also receive:

A binding Bill of Sale signed by both you and Straight Deal.

Confirmation of any lien amount to be paid off (if applicable).

A breakdown of the remaining balance to be deposited into your bank account.
How Does My Auto Loan Get Paid Off?
If you have a loan on the car that you're selling, Straight Deal will pay off the loan and deduct it from the value of our offer. Loans can take anywhere between 10-30 business days to be processed, depending on the lender.
What Documentation Is Required To Sell My Car To Straight Deal?
1) Driver’s licence

2) Proof of ownership or title for the vehicle

3) Void cheque or direct deposit form (to facilitate payment)

4) Loan payout statement (if your vehicle is financed)
I Am Still Driving My Car. Does Straight Deal Allow A Variation In Mileage?
Yes, we allow up to a 1,000-km variance in mileage without impacting your offer. If the variance exceeds 1,000 km, simply inform your advisor. They’ll update the mileage or vehicle details for you to ensure everything stays accurate.
